Today, I want to take a moment to appreciate the wonderful and amazing women leaders who are members of the Calgary African Community Collective (CACC).
Thank you for your leadership, your courage, your creativity, your advocacy, and the countless ways you contribute to building stronger families and a stronger community. We see you. We feel your impact. We value you. And we are grateful for you. ❤️
One powerful reflection from our collective is that more than 65% of our registered grassroots organizations and institutions are coordinated by women. This is a powerful testament to the leadership, resilience, and community-building strength of African women in Calgary.
Women are leading.
Women are building.
Women are nurturing.
Women are creating.
Women are advocating.
Women are mentoring.
Women are opening doors for others.
Women are making a difference.
And we know something even more powerful: Women become greater when women lift one another. 🤝🏾👑
